RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ABANDONING A PORTION OF RAMONA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, there presently is a street in the City of Arroyo Grande
generally known and designated as Ramona Avenue, which street is more
particularly described; and
WHEREAS, said street is actually what is commonly known and
designated as a "paper" street, having been shown on a subdivision
map, but having never been opened up and used as a City Street; and
WHEREAS, there appear to be no present or future probable use
to be made by the City of Arroyo Grande of said Street as a public
street, and therefore it appears in the best interests of all concerned
that said Street be abandoned by the City of Arroyo Grande.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE as follows:
The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does herewith
abandon a portion of Ramona Avenue, (said portion being specifically
described in Exhibit "A!' attached hereto and by reference incorporated
herein) , a public street in the City of ArrQYo Grande, County of
San Luis Obispo, State of California.
The portion of said Ramona Avenue which the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande does herewith abandon is more particularly
described as that certain real property located in the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, described in
Exhibit "A~ attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
On motion of Councilman Lee , seconded by Councilman
Pence, and on the following roll call vote: .."

Being the Northerly half of Ramona Avenue lying between
, ,
the Easterly property line of 18th Street and the center line of
19th street as said Streets and Avenues are delineated and desig-
nated on a map of The Town of Grover recorded July, 1887, filed
for record in Book A at page 6, records of San Luis Obispo, County,
California and being more particularly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at the most South Westerly corner of Block 53
of said Town of Grover; thence S 860 45' E along the Southerly
line of said Block 53 a distance of 335 feet more or less to its
inteJ;'section with the Northerly prolongation of the centerline of
19th street; thence S 30 15' W along the said Northerly prolongation
of the center line of 19th Street a distance of 50.00 feet to its
intersection with the center line of Ramona AvenuG; thence N 860
45' W along the said center line of Ramona Avenue, a distance of
335 f~et more or less to its intersection with the Southerly pro-
longation of the Westerly property line of said Block 53; thence
N 30 15' E along the said Southerly prolongation of the Westerly
line of Blo~k 53 a distance of 50.00 feet to the Point of Begi~ing.
