RESOLUTION NO. h80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ADOPTING THE "UNIFORM BUILDING CODE. T9691 EDITION"
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 6 OF ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 105 PERMITTING THE ADOPTION OF CURRENT EDITIONS
OF THE "UNIFORM BUILDING CODES."
WHEREAS. under the provisions of Section 6 of Ordinance 105
of the City of Arroyo Grande. the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, CaTifornia, may from time to time by Resolution
adopt later amendments or editions of the "Uniform Building Code!"
and
WHEREAS, the Code presently being used under the provisions
of said Ordinance 105 is the "Uniform Building Code, 1952 Edition;"
and
WHEREAS, there is now a 196f Edition of said Uniform Building j
Code in existence! and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the said City Council that it
adopt the latest Uniform Building Code so as to keep its building
regulations and other related regulations up to date.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, California, as follows:
That certain document. three (3) copies of which are on file
in the office of the city Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande, being
marked and designated as "UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, 196~ EDITION" and
which copies may be identified by the Seal of the City of Arroyo
Grande, appearing thereon, be and the same is hereby adopted as the
Building Code of the City of Arroyo Grande for regulating the
erection. enlargement, alterations, repair. moving, removal, demoli-
tion. conversion, occupancy. equipment, use, height, area and main-
tenance of all buiTding and/or structures in the City of Arroyo Grande;
providing for issuance of buiTding permits and colTection of fees
therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of said J~niform Building Code, 19~ Edition"
are hereby referred to and made a part hereof as if fully set forth

hereinafter.

deemed to mean the Building Inspector of the City of Arroyo
Grande.
