RESOLUTION NO. 472
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
That it favors the introduction of legislation before the
State Legislature by which Grand Avenue in the County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, from its junction with the
101 Highway in the City of Arroyo Grande, through the City of
Grover City and to its intersection with State Highway No. 1
be included in the California State Highway System.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
be forwarded to the California State Legislative representatives
of the County of San Luis Obispo, to-wit: Senator Vernon
Sturgeon, and Assemblyman James L. Holmes with the request
that they try and implement the inclusion of said street into
the State Highway system as soon as possible.
On Motion of Councilman Lee, seconded by Councilman
Hartwig, and on the fOllowing roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Lee, Pence, Hartwig
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Burt, Councilman Jacobs
