0'~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARROYO GRANDE
\~ WHEREAS, there Is presently existing in the City of
Arroyo Grande a street known and designated as High Street,
which street is approximately one-half of a city block in
length and which street most nearly aligns itself with an
extention of Le Pol~ street in the City of Arroyo Grande,
although separated therefrom by an Intervening area; and
WHEREAS, It appears that very few people know of the
whereabouts or existence of the street known and designated
as High Street; and
WHEREAS, it appears desirable to change the name of
High Street bo Le Point Street so as to enable people to be
better able to locate said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande that it proposes to change the
name of High Street from High Street to Le Point Street. and
for this purpose it will hold a public hearing. Said public
hearing will be held on the ~hday of ~~Q..~,1960, at
the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Arroyo Grande, California, at which
time any persons interested therein may appear and be heard
for or against the change of the name of said street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thatnnotice of the intention to
change the name of said street and of the hearing thereon
,
shall be given by posting a notice of said hearing in at
least -1-- public places along said High Street, said
postttgto be completed at least ten days prior to the hearing.
