A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE , CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT
OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDI ON THE 12 H DAY OF
APRIL, 1960, DECLARING THE RESULT THER OF ~ND
SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY W.
WHEREAS. a regula~ general municipal e ection was held
and conducted in the City of Arroyo Grande , C unty of San Luis Oqispo
State of California, on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1960, as
required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was d ly and regularly
given in time, form and manner as provided by la ; that voting
precincts were properly established; that electi n officers were
appointed and that in all respects said election was held and
conducted and the votes cast thereat, received a d canvassed and
the returns made and declared in time, form and anner as required
by the provisions of the Elections Code of the S ate of California
for the holding of elections in general law citi s; and

WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April, 196 , at the hour of
~~.m., the City Council duly assembled at it U5ua 1 place of
meeting and has canvassed the returns of said el ction and as a
result of which, the City Council finds that the number of votes
cast and the names of the persons voted for, the office each
person was voted for, and other matters required by law to be as
stated hereinafter;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF Arrayo
Grande , CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOL
SECTION 1. That there were -1-- votin precinctII' estab-
lished for the purpose of holding said election onsisting (of
consolidations) of the regular election precinct in the City of
1rrwo Grande as established for the hold'ng of state and
county elections.

SECTION 2. That said regular gen~ral unicipal election
was held for the purpose of electing the followi g officers of said
City as required by the laws relating to general law cities in the
State of California, to wit:

State of California and shall have them subscrib thereto and file

the same in his (her) office. He (She) shall also require from
each of such respective persons so elected the required loyalty
oath and file the same in his (her) office. Whereupon, each and
all of said persons so elected shall be inducted into the respec-
tive office to which they have been elected.
SECTION ,. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in
the book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make a
minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the
proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of
the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
