A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE REQUESTING THE' BOA OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS BISPO
TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK OF SA D CO T TO
RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY F
ARROYO GRANDE, RELATING TO THE COND CT OF
A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HE D IN
SAID CITY ON APRIL 12 , 1960.
WHEREAS, a fl!lneral tion is to be
held in the City of A~~nyn r.~AnnA , 1<};0 ;
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election
and in relation thereto it will be necessary to ail sample ballots
and polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and
it will facilitate such mailing if the County C rk of the County
of San Luis Obispo will prepare and furnish the 'ty the imprinting
of the names and addresses of the registered vot rs of said City
on envelopes furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense i this
service shall be paid by the City of Arro 0
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council f the City of
Arroyo Grande does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMIN AND ORDER, as
follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the rovisions of
Section 9483 of the Elections Code of the State f California,
this City Council hereby requests the Board of pervisors of
said County to permit the County Clerk to prepa e and furnish to
said City, for use in conducting said election be held on
Anri1 12 ,19 60, the imprinting of the nam s and addresses
of the registered voters of said City, on envel pes furnished by
the City.
SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said
County for services performed when the work is ompleted and upon
presentation to the City of a properly approved bill.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk 's hereby directed
to forward without delay to said Board of Super isors and to said
County Clerk each a certified copy of this reso ution.
