A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OF ARROYO GRANDE
ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF A COPY OF NOTI OF INTENTION TO
CIRCULATE PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF RITORY DESIGNATED
AS "OCEANO ANNEX\' AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLI ATION THEREOF AND
APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION
WffEREAS, on ~~~ 1959, there was iled with the City
Clerk 0f the City of Arroyo Grande a copy of Not ce of Intention to
Circulate Petition Relating to Annexation of Cer ain Territory to
the City of Arroyo Grande under the Annexation A t ot 1913 pertaining
to territory designated as "Oceano Annex" accomp ied by a written
statement containing reasons for the petition to ether with an
affidavit of publication of said notice on D.. '#-.1959; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provide that the legisla-
tive body may adopt a resolution acknowledging r ceipt of the notice
and approving the circulation of the petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City ouncil of the City
of Ar't'oyo Grande:
SECTION 1. That the receipt of the notice, tatement and affidavit
aforesaid be and the same hereby is acknowledge . and that approval be
and hereby is given for the circulation of the tition for annexation
of. that certain terri tory designated as \tOceano nnex" twenty-one days
after publication of said notice and statement.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
