RESQLUTION NO. 383
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF A COpy
OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "FAm
OAKS }rAJOR" AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF
j AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION.
w1lEREAS, 0 n Januarv 7 , 1958 there was filed
,
with the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande, a copy of
Notice of Intention to Circ~late Petition Relating to Annex_
ation of Certain Territory to the City of Arroyo Grande ~nder
the Annexation Act of 1913 pertaining to territory designated
as "FAIR OAKS }LAJOR" accompanied by a written statement con-
taining reasons for the petition together with an Affidavit of
P~blication of said Notice on Janual'V 1 , 195~, in
the Arroyo Grande Herald-Recorder; and
liHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the
legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt
of the notice and approving the circulation of the petition;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co~ncil of the
City of Arroyo Grande:
Section 1- That the receipt of the notice, statement and
affidavit aforesaid be and the same hereby is~cknowledged,
and that approval be and hereby is given for the circ~lation
of the petition for annexation of that certain territory design-
ated as "FAIR OAKS :MAJOR" twenty_one (21) days after the publi-
cation of said notice and statement.
On motion of Councilman PENCE , seconded by
Councilman LEE and on the following roll call vote,
to -wit:
