COUNTY OF S..ur LUIS OBISPO, RELATIVE TO TO AIRX-
A'fION OF CERTAIN UNIN1IABI'fJD TERRITORY TO TilE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE.
WHEREAS, the City Co.acil of the Cit1 of Arroyo Gr.ade,
Coaaty of Sa. Luis Obispo, State of California, has received
requests from persoDS owning property 1yiBi within the terri-
tor~al limits of the hereinafter descri_ed parcel of property
for anaexatioD of said property to the City of Arroyo Graade;

WHEREAS, it appears desirable to the said City Council
of the City of Arroyo Graade, to annex the here batter Itescrib-
ed parcel of real property to the City of Arroyo Graade, said
property being contiguous to said City; and

the meaning of Section 5162 ot the General Laws of the State
of Califeraia; and
WHEREAS, the said CitT Couacil ot the City of ArroTo Granite
desires to proceed with the aatter ot aaDexation en its own

State of California.
NOW THRgF.~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Co.acil of the
City of Arroyo Graade, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, that the hereiaafter described real property be
annexed to the City of Arroyo Graade, and that all necessary
steps bOe taken to cODSUllUllate this abnexatioD,.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tbe hereiDafter described pro-

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that on the I 7!t day OfM-'
1956, at the hour Ofg,f#tt:. o'clock P.M., at the Council Cham-
bers of the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, in the
City Hall, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, a hearing will be held, at which
ti~e owners of property lying within the limits of the herein-
after described parcel of property, and any others who may be
interested, may appear and show cause, if any they have, why
the hereinafter described parcel of real property

should not be annexed to the City of Arroyo Grande, County of
San Luis Obispo, State of California. Protests may be made in
writing prior to the hearing or in writing or orally at the
time and place of hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall
be published at least once a week for two (2) successive weeks
before the hearing on the matter of the annexation hereinabove
mentioned. Publication of said Resolution shall be in the
Herald Recorder, a weekly newspaper published and circulated
in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California.

cribed as follows, to-wit:
That portion of Lot 3 of the Folsom Tract, in the County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to the
map thereof filed September 26, 1891, in Book B, Page 75
of Maps, records of said County.
Beginning at the most Northwesterly corner of said Lot 3;
thence South 680 52' East along the Northeasterly line
thereof 275 feet; thence South 210 08' West 314.7 feet to
the Southwesterly line of said lot; thence North 680 52'
West along said Southwesterly line 275 feet to the South-
west corner of said lot; thence North 210 08' East along
the Northwesterly line of said lot 314.7 feet to the
point of beginning.
