WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grand~ has no person designated to act in
the place and stead of the regular Mayor when said Mayor is absent.
NOW THEREFORE HE IT RESOLVED That in accordance with Section 36801 of the

Government Code that J. O. Pence be and he is herewith appointed Mayor Pro-Tem,

to act in the place of and in stead of the regular d~ appointed Mayor in the
event of his absence.
On IIIOtion of Councilman llrennan and seconded by Councilman Jacobs and on
the following roll call vote:
