RESOLUTION NO 333
R:CSOL,;TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARROYO GRANDE RELATIVE TO
:mAN'I'ING JURISDICTION OVER CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE CITY
STREETS TO THE CCUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
ii1IEREAS, there is presently in the City of Arroyo Grande
a certain public Street known and designated as HALCYON ROAD, and
WHEREAS, portions of said street are also located in the
unicorporated area of the County of San Luis Obispo, said areas
being interspersed with those in the City, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the County of San Luis Obispo
to maintain those portions which belong to it and the City
is obli~ated to maintain those portions belonging to it, and
whereas it is economically better for the two governmental
groups to get together and let one of the groups handle all
the maintenance on a contiguous portion of said road, rather
than to have them attempt the maintenance in broken portions, i

WHER:CAS, the both of said parties are willing to enter
into an arrangement by which the County of San Luis Obispo
will agree to handle all of the maintenance on that portion
of Halcyon Road hereinafter described
NOW THEREFORE BE IT REOLVED that the complete maintenanee

of the hereinafter described portion~ HALCYON ROAD be and the same
is herewith granted to the County of San Luis Obispo. Said
portion of said road is described as follows:
All that part of Halcyon Road being Within the incorporated area of the I
City of Arroyo Grande, California and described as follows: viz.
All that part of Halcyon Road lying between the souther:q line of
Dodson Way and a point 240 feet northerly therefrom as shown on
Subdivision Map of Tract No. 58 and all that part of Halcyon Road
lying between the norther:q line of Fair Oaks Avenue and the southerly
line of Farrel Road as shown on subdivision Map of Tract No. 45.
