RESOLUTION #325
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
to authorize the cancellation of the 1954-55 Real Tax on the
property purchased by the Arroyo Grande Union Elementary School
District and assessed in the name of J. Yard Loomis, Glapys S.
Loomis, R. B. Mineau, Thelma Mineau, Maud H. Loomis and i
Christine B. Loomis.
r On Motion of Councilman Pence and seconded by Councilman Brennan and by the
i following roll call vote to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Burt, Lee, Pence, Simpson and Brennan

the foregoing resolution was adopted.
RESOLUTION #326
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, is advised that there ,have been presented to the
Legislature of the State of California a bill to establish a Division of Marine
Affairs; and
WHERF~, Port San Luis Harbor District has present plans for, development
, and improvement of harbor and harbor facilities within said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT BESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, that said Council favors
the creation and formation of a Division of Marine Affairs; that it is the further
I opinion of said Council that a revolving fund should be created, one source of
I which fund should be revenues received by the State of California from State
Tidelands, and that from said fund the said Division of Marine Affairs should be
empowered to allocate SUIIIS of money to appropriate districts and political sub-
divisions of the State of California as long terrn loans at low interest rates for
construction, development and improvement of harbors.
On motion of Councilman Simpson, seconded by Councilman Lee, and on the
following roll call vote:
