RESOLUTION NO. 1685
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "TWO-HOUR PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTI.ON OF BRANCH STREET
WHEREAS, It appears necessary and desirable to establish a
Two-hour Parking Zone on a portion of Branch Street, as specifically
described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City CouncIl of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
SECTION I: That a Two-hour Parking Zone be established on the
northerly frontage of Branch Street extending from a point 275 feet west
of the centerline of the intersection of Branch Street and Nevada Street
westerly to a point on the northerly right of way line, 315 feet westerly
of the centerline of the Intersection of Branch Street and Nevada Street.
SECTION 2: That a Two-hour Parking Zone be established on
the southerly frontage of Branch Street extending from a point 262 feet
west of the centerline of the intersection of Branch Street and Bridge
Street westerly to a point on the southerly right of way line, 294 feet
westerly of the centerline of the intersection of Branch Street and Bridge
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provlde'and Install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said Two-hour Parking zones.
On motion of Countil Member Vandeveer, seconded by Council
Member Gallagher, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci I Member Hogan
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of February, 1983. I
