A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE APPROVING PRIORITY PLAN FOR EXPENDITURE UNDER
PROVISIONS OF THE STATE BEACH, PARK, RECREATION, AND
HISTORICAL FACILITIES BOND ACT IIF 1974.
WHEREAS, the State Beach, Park, Recreational, and HistorIcal FacIlItIes
Bond Act af 1974 requires that each county shall consult with all cItIes and
distrIcts within the county whIch are authorized to provIde park and recreatIon
services and develop and submit to the state a priority plan for expenditure of
the county's allocation; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis IIblspo has consulted wIth the CIty of
Arroyo Grande which has prepared a priorIty plan for expendIture of the CIty's
allocation, said prlarlty plan IJeln9 set farth belaw marked ExhIbit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the priorIty plan far the expenditure
of the City's allocatIon af funds under the State Beach, Park, Recreational, and
Historical FacIlitIes Bond Act of 1974, a copy of whIch plan Is set forth below
marked Exhibit "A", be and the same Is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Arroyo Grande City Clerk Is here~y dIrected
to forward a certified copy of thIs resolutIon to the County of San Luis Obispo.
On motIon of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman Splerllng and on
the follawlng roll call vote, to wit:

This exhibIt, a part of Resolution No. 1236, Is to the effect that the
ArroYG Grande Parks and Recreation COIIII1lsslon did reconsIder and apprcilVe, at Its
special meeting of June " 1976, the determination that the develGpment of lands
for the StrGther Community Park facility, located on Huasna RGad, be established
as Priority No.1 for the use of the "State Beach, Park, Recreation, and
HIstorical FacilIties Bond Act of 1974" funds, rather than acquisItIon as set out
by City CouncIl ResolutIon No. 1110, dated July 24, 1974. This Act Ion was
substantiated by the action of the Arroyo Grande City Council In Its adoption
of thIs resolutIon.
