A R~;SOLU'fION OF TilE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO MOVE ONTO THE
CITY PROPERTY ON ELM STREET IN LINE vlITH HIS POLICE DUTY.
On motion of Councilman Brennan and seconded by Councilman Kerr and by
the following roll call vote to-wit:

RESOLUTION NO. 310
A RESoLUnON OF INTF;NnON '1'0 VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE A
PORTION OF ACACIA STREET IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, that portion of Acacia Street which is hereinafter described is
not required for street purposes, and
WHEREAS, it also appears that it will be an advantage to the City of
Arroyo Grande to close, vacate and abandon said portion of Acacia Street,
hereinafter described, and
WHERF,AS, the said portion of Acacia Street proposed to be abandoned,
closed and vacated is described as follows; to-wit:
That certain strip of land designated as Acacia Street
lying between Blocks 1 and 2 of Tract Number 45, in the
City of Arroyo Grande, State of California, as shown on
the map of said Tract, recorded November 22, 1948, in
Book 5 at page 68 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, bounded on the north by the
prolonged north lines of Lot 20 in Block 1 and Lot 1 in
Block 2 of said Tract, and bounded on the South by the
prolonged Houth lines of Lot 11 in Block 1 and lot 10
in Block 2 of said Tract.
NOW, THERE~'ORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED 1'HAT IT IS 'l'HE INTENTION off the
City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, to vac*te, abandon and close up
that portion of ACACIA STREET above-described.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDr~ED that a hearing shall be held in con- I

nection with said intention on the part of said City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, to vacate, abandon and close that portion of ACACIA STREET,
above-described, which$aid hearing shall be held on the 20th day of JUly, 1954
at the hour of 8 P.M., in the Louncil Chambers, in the City Hall, City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, at which time
