RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE CURRENT
FISCAL YEAR 1953_54 UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AND FIXING
THE RATE OF SUCH TAX.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, that a
tax for the fiscal year for said City beginning on the 1st day
of July, 1953, One and 02/100 ($1.02) Dollars on each One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars of assessed valuation upon all taxable real
and personal property within said City, shall be levied, One
Dollar ($1.00) shall be on account of the, general tax ,fund
and 2 cents of said levy shall be on account of retirement of
sewer bonds.
All assessed valuation shall be computed on the basis of
assessments levied by the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, as equalized by the City
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande sitting as a board of equal_
ization.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be directed and
she is herewith directed, to publish this Resolution together with
the names of the Councilmen voting thereon in the Herald-Recorder,
a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California.
This Resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the pro_
visions of Section 36936.1 of the Gov~rnment Code of the State of
California.
