RESOLUTION NO.,;;,ga OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED AHENIDlENT OF ORDINUCE NO. 95 OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE. WHEREAS, there is presently in effect in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, an Ordinance No. 95, commonly known as the "ZONING ORDINANCE," being entitled "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONES IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, AND REGULATING THE USES OF PROPERTY THEREIN, ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING SAID ZONES, DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR ITS ADJUSTMENT, ENFORCEHENT AND ... AMENDMENT, PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ANY "- ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH." 't', WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid ordinance, a map has been attached thereto, known and designated as "Zoning Plan '~p" which said map designates certain areas in said City as being zoned for certain purposes, and WHEREAS, it appears desirable to amend said ordinance by re- zoning certain areas shown on the "Zoning Plan Map," WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande City Planning Commission has made certain recommendations, to the Citl Council relative to said pro- posed amendments, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARRQYO GRANDE, that it intends to hold a public hearing in con- nection with those certain changes in the zoning of certain areas hereinafter described shown on the aforesaid "Zoning Plan Map" in said Ordinance No. 95 so as to permit the hereinafter described real property to be zoned for new and different purposes. The properties intended to be rezoned are described as follows: Parcell. Portion of Lot 105 of Ranohos Corral de Piedra Pismo & Bo1sa de Chemfsa1: Beginning at South_ west corner of Lot1,"B1ock 16 of Westera'Add~- tion; Thence South 00 09' East for a distance of 121.98 feet; thence ~orth 660 57' East for a" distance of 387.65 feet; thence North 00 09' West for a distance of 121.98 feet; thence South 660 57' West for a distance of 387.65 feet to point of begi9Ping; .- ~ ~ , > < . . Parcel 2. Portion of Lot 105 of Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal: Be_ ginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 16 of the Western Addition to the City of Arroyo Grande; thence South 00 09' E a distance of 121.98 feet to the point of be- ginning; thence South 0009' E a distance of 552.95 feet; thence North 890 47' East a distance of 357.10 feet; thence North 00 09' West a distance of 703.62 feet; thence South 660 57' West a distance of 387.65 feet to the point of beginning. All of the aforesaid parcels are shown on the "Zoning Plan Map" contained in the aforesaid Ordinance and the proposed change thereon can be seen on a section of said .Zoning Plan Map. en- titled .A SECTION OF THE ARROYO GRANDE ZOI'ING PLAN MAP SHOWING AREAS PROPOSED FOR ZONING RECLASSIFICATIONS SAID AREA MARKED BY CROSSHATCHING. · BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Council will hold a public hearing in connection with the said proposed amendment on the 21st day of January, 1953, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., at which time all persons interested therein may appear to be heard for or against the proposed amendment of the said .Zoning Plan Map,. of said Ordinance No. 95. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is here_ with ordered to publish a notice of the time and place of the said hearing in the Herald-Recorder, at least once prior to said hear- ing, said publication to be at least 10 days before the date of said hearing.
