RESOLUTION NO. 2u9
WHEREAS, There has been presented to the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande,
by the District Engineer, District V, State Division of Highways, a plan showing the
proposed route of U. S. 101 Highway, State Highway Route 2, through and adjacent to the
City of Arroyo Grande, as indicated on the attached print, and

I WHEREAS, aaid plan was referred to the City Planning COllll1ission for study and recomm-
endAtion after consideration in open meetings said Planning Commission has recom-
mened that the Council approve said proposed route as presented, and
WHEREAS, it now appears to the Council that the proposed route meets with general public
hearing thereon before the California Highway commission
KCW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande recommends the formal adoption of the proposed route by the California Highway
Commission wi thout further public hearing thereon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th day of June, 1951by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Conrad, Waiters, Dixson, Dammann,
NOES: None
ABSENT: Clark
