RESOLUTION NO. 247
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, natural or man-made disasters may place a burden on the City far beyod the
Capacity of its own protective facilities, and
WHEREAS, mutual aid fully participated in by all public agencies willI serve best to
meet the civil defense needs of Local government and the state, and ,---
WHEREAS, such mutual aid is hereby found to be fore the direct protection and --
benefit of the inhabitants and property of the City, and
WHEREAS , EARL WARREN, Govenor of the State of California, on'the 15th day on
November, 1950, executed the California Disaster and Civil Defense Master Mutual Aid
Agreement on behalf of the State of California and all its Departments and Agencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arrcr,yo Grande, does, by resolution,
hereby approve and agree to abide by sUd California Civil Defense M:1.Ster Mutual Aid
Agreement; and the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and d;rected to send two
certified copies of this resolution to the State Disaster Council ~or filing with said
State Disaster Council.
On motion of Councilman Clark , seconded by Councilman Conrad , and on the following
roll call vote:
