RESOLUTION NO. 3259
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A LEAD SUPPORT SERVICE TECHNICIAN
POSITION AND A MECHANIC'S ASSISTANT POSITION
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized by law to establish employment
positions as it deems necessary to effectively operate municipal services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of
Arroyo Grande to establish the employment positions of Lead Support Service
Technician and Mechanic's Assistant.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. There is hereby established the employment position of Lead Support
Service Technician, which shall be a full-time position. Compensation for
the position of Lead Support Service Technician shall be as established by
the Council.
2. There is hereby established the employment position of Mechanic's
Assistant, which shall be a permanent, part-time position. Compensation
for the position of Mechanic's Assistant shall be as established by the
Council.
On motion of Council Member Runels , seconded by Council
Member Lady , and on the following roll call vote to wit:
AYES:Council Member Runels, Lady, Tolley, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Fuller
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of November,
1997.
