C. C. SHARPS having offered to pa.y 'the Ci tJ' of Arroyo Grande the
QUIll of Thirteen Hundred Dollars (~1300.00) for Lots 4 to 16. both
inclusive, according to the Map of Lowe's Addition to the Town of
Arroyo Grande. upon certain terms and conditions,
BE IT RESOLVED that said offer be. and the same is hereby,
accepted. and that the Mayor and the CitJi' Clerk be. and theJ' are
hereby, authorized to execute and deliver to said C. C. Sharps a
contract on behalf of said City. upon the following terms and
conditions. to wit:
Total purchase price $1300.00; cash on delivery of contract,
$300.00, the balance to be paid at the rate of ~30.00 per month
until June 1st. 1940. at which tlm~ the entire balance of ~640.00

$hall be due and payable; all deferred payments to bear interest
at the rate of Six per cent per annum and deductible from said
~30.00 payments; e~ceptin~ from said premises, the portion thereof
heretofore conveyed to the State of California for State l!ighway
purpos~s and excepting therefrom all other public highways; purchaser

to be given the privilege of making greater payments than above ment1.a1e4
or full payment at any ti:ne; polic;..- of title insurance in the sum of
$1300.00 to be delivered to purchaser with deed.

ABSENT: Mayor Gibson and Councilman Phillips.
