AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING A
: PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9, CHAPTER 4 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAINPROPERTI IN THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE OOESORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONINGORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewitj1 amended as . follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF'ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9, Chapter 4 of the ~nicipa1 Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as to be
the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto, and
by this reference incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 89 C.S. .OF THE
CITY OF 'ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references shown there-
on shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown on said Map
were fully described herein, and the Districts and zones and boundaries of the
property shown therein from and after the effective date of the adoption of this
Ordinance. The properties intended to be rezoned and the changes in the zoning
accomplished' hereby are described as follows:
"That portion of Lot 101 of James T. Stratton's Survey of parts of the Ranchos
Corral de Piedra, .Pismo and Bolsa de Chetrl.sal, in the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, as shown on map filed in Book A,
page 65 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of Valley Road,asshown on the map
of Tract No. 186, recorded in Book 6, page 52 of Maps in the office of said
County Recorder that is distant along said Easterly line North 00 09' East,
1411.05 feet from the Southerly line of said Lot 101; THENCE along the
Southerly boundary of the land described in the Deed to B.A. Colburn and wife,
recorded .October 30, 1957 in Book 914, page 125 of Of fici.a 1 Records ,as follows:
South 890 51' East 685.80 feet and South 410 46' ISh East 374.00 feet to the
most Easterly corner of said land of Colburn; THENCE parallel with the South-
easterly line of said Lot 101, South 550 31' 30" West, 119.32 feet, THENCE
South 340Z8' 30" East 387.82 feet to a line that is parallel with and distant
30 feet Northwesterly from the Southeasterly line of said Lot 101; THE!lJE .along
said parallel line South 550 31' 30" WestZ74.3l feet to the Southwesterly
, terminus of the course recited as "South 550 31' 301' West, 274.31 feet" in the
Deed to the San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation I ,
Diatrict, recorded December 30, 1959 in Book 1040, page 162 of 'Official Records;
THENC.E Westerly along the Northerly boundary of the land described in said last
mentioned Deed to the Northeasterly line of County Road No. l34aa described in
the Deed to the County of San LuisObisP9, recorded in Book 42, page 448 of
Deeds; THENCE along said County Road No. 134, North 470 41' West, 498. 94 feet,
more or less tache Easterly Uneof Valley Road as shown on said Map of
Tract No. 186; THENCE along said Valley Road, North 00 09' East 350.60 feet,
more or less to the point of beginning."
Said property is rezoned from R-l Single Family Residential District to
P-D'Planned Development District.
SECTIONZ: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after ita passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Mayor Schlegel and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Talley, Millis, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
