PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CI'l'Y OF ARROW) GRANDE
REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9, CHAPTER 4 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY 1"N
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9, Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain d~str~cts shown there~nand thereon ~re changed so as to be
the zones and bo~ndaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto, and
by this reference incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED lIY ORDINANCE NO. 84 C.S. OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references shown
thereon shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown on said
Map were fully described herein, and the Districts and zones and boundaries of
the property shown therein from and after the effective date of the adoption of
this Ordinance. The properties intended to be rezoned and the changes in the
zoning accomplished hereby are deseribed as follows:
All that part of Beckett's Add~tion to the Town of Oceano, in the City
of Arroyo Grande, in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
according to map recorded February 4, 1908 in Book I, Page 103 of
Record of Surveys, bounded as follows:
On the North by the center line of Central Avenue as shown on said map;
On the East by the Westerly boundary lines of Tract No. 282, according
to map recorded June 21, 1963 in Book 6, Page 99 of Maps;
On the South by the South line of sa~d Beckett's Addition;
And on the West by the West line of said Beckett's Addition, being also
the Easterly l~ne of First Street as shown on said map.
Except~ng therefrom that portion conveyed to James Wilkinson by deed
recorded June 17, 1927 in Book 32, Page 288 of Official Records,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the tract of land conveyed by
S. K. Huber and Oscar Huber, to John F. Beckett by deed dated
February 19th, 1906, and recorded in the office of said County Recorder
in Book 69 of Deeds, at page 168 and being also the Southwest corner of
Beckett's Addition to Oceano, according to the map thereof on file in
the office of said County Recorder, and running thence East along the
South line of said Tract so conveyed to John F. Beckett, as aforesaid,
four hundred sixty-six (466) feet and e~ght (8) inches to a point;
thence at right angles North four hundred sixty-six (466) feet and
eight (8) inches to a point; thence at right angles West four hundred
sixty-six (466) and eight (8) inches to the West line of said Tract;
thence South along sa~d l~ne four hundred sixty-six (466) feet and
eight (8) inches to the point of beginning.
Also excepting the following described parcel:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Central Avsnue as shown on
said map also being the Northwesterly corner of Lot 1, Tract 282,
recorded in lIook 6 at Page 99 of maps; thence along "aid centerline
South 890 54' West 310.00 feet; thence at right ang12s South 00 06'
East 275.00 feet; thence South 470 19' 28" West 138.9/ feet; thence
North 890 47' 30" East 205.00 feet to the Westerly line of se.id Tract
282; thence along the Westerly boundary of "d.<I l-,":act the following
five courses:

3. Easterly on a curve concave Southerly having a radius Qf
270 feet through central angle of 20' 30' 00" an arc distance

4. At right .angles to the tangent of said curve North 6' 14' 04"
East 60.00 feet.
5. North O' 12' 30" West 104.80 feet to the'Point of Beginning.
Said property is' rezoned from .P-D' Planned Development District to R-l
Single Family Residential District.
SECTION 2; This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (1.5) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councihnan de Leon, seconded by Councilman Wood and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
