" ORDINANCE NO. 79 C.S.
., AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 4 OF TITLE 6 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO GARBAGE COLlECTION RATES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 10 of Chapter 4 of Title 6 is hereby amended to read 'l;
as follows:
Section 6-4.10. Collection Rates.
Rates for the collection of refuse, garbage, wet garbage and rubbish
shall be as follows:
A. RESIDENTIAL SERVICE
1. "ConUiination" Service.
"Combination" garbage service is defined as the service of
collecting one standard garbage container of 32 gallons or less with an 80 pound
weight limit plus trash and rubbish of up to one cubic yard, boxed or bundled so
that one man can load it onto the garbage truck, with all garbage containers
located at the front property line of the served residence.
"Combination" one time a week service -
$2.75 per month.
2,Authorized Additional Charges.
Pickup of the garbage container in the backyard with the balance
of the trash and rubbish picked up at the front property line:
One container one time a week service - "

$3.25 per month. .
Each additional container -
$1.25 per month.
B. MULTI-DWELLING UNITS (Duplex, Triplex, Fourplex & Apartment Units)
1. "Combination" one time a week service per unit - $2.75.
2. Service where the container is rented from contract agent:
$1.50 per unit plus the rent of the special container.
C. COMMERCIAL CONTAINERS FURNISHED BY CONTRACT AGENT
One Cubic Yard Container
1. One time a week service $12.00 permontn
2. TWo times a week service $18.00 per month
3. Three times a week service $22.00 per month
TWo Cubic Yard Container
I, One time a week service $15.00 per month
2. Two times a week service $25.00 per month
Three Cubic Yard Container
1. One time a week service $18.00 per month
2. TWo times a week service $31.00 per month
3. Three times a week service $44.00 per month
Items not covered shall be negotiated as an extra service.

". . Where a license for the collection and disposal cf refu.se, garbage,
.. wet garbage, and rubbish has been grant"d as providod for in Section 6~4.05 of
this Chapter, the Council may in such license provide for the maxi=11 charges
to be made by the licensee.
Licensees shall collect and dispose of the refuse, garbage, wet garbage,
and rubbish in the City in the manner provided in this chapter and sr~ll not
charge any rates in excess of the rates specified in this section.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the nanles of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Millis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
