ORDINANCE NO. 64 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING A PORTION
OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE REFERRED TO
IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9, CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302 of
Title 9, Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code is amended so that the zones and boundaries of
certain Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as to be the zones and
boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto, and by this reference
incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 64 C.S. OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and
said Map and all notations and references shown thereon shall be as much a part of
this Ordinance as if the matters shown on said Map were all fully described herein,
and the Districts and zones and boundaries of the property shown therein from and
after the effective date of the adoption of this Ordinance. The properties intended
to be rezoned and the changes in the zoning accomplished hereby are described as
follows:
Those portions of Lot 17 and 18 of the Resubdivision of a Part of the
Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bo1sa de Chemisa1, in the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, accord-
ing to the map filed for record November 24, 1886 in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at Stake S. 70 at the Northeast corner of said"Lot 17 and
running thence South 8lo West along the South line of Huasna Road a
distance of 469.2 feet to a point which is located North 810 East
30.14 feet from Stake S. 69 located at the Northwest corner of said
Lot 17 and running thence South 90 East a distance of 237 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence continuing South 9. East 670 feet
more or less to a point in the center of the Arroyo Grande Creek;
thence North 57. 30' East 160.52 feet along the center of the Arroyo
Grande Creek to a point; thence South 90 East 29 feet to a point on
the Northerly line of Myrtle Street; thence North 570 30' East along
said North line of Myrtle Street 39.9 feet to the Southwest corner
of ssid Lot 17; thence continuing North 570 30' East along said North
line of Myrtle Street 358.4 feet to a point on the Easterly line of
said Lot 17; thence along the said Easterly line ~f said Lot 17,
North 430 15' West 19.14 feet; thence North 90 West a distance of
519 feet to a point which is located South 90 East 225 feet from
said Stake S. 70; thence South 810 West 288.90 feet to a point on
the Westerly line of said Lot 17; thence South 90 East 12 feet to
a point; thence South 810 West 183.8 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Said property is rezoned to R-3.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be
published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in the
Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Wood, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley and Mayor Levine.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
