ORDINANCE NO. 42 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 6 OF TITLE 6 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL
CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 6-6.201 AND 6-6.202 RE-
LATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Subsection (d) of Title 6, Chapter 6, Section 201 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(d) "Sewerage system" shall mean those pipelines and appurtenances
constructed, maintained, and operated by the City primarily for
the collection of sewage and the conveyance thereof to the
sewage plant owned and operated by the South San Luis Obispo
County Sanitation District.
SECTION 2: (1) and (2) of Subsection (a) of Title 6, Chapter 6,
Section 202 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended to read as fol-
lows:
USE RATE
(1) Residences, apartments, mobile $.50 for each residence, or
home spaces and travel trailet apartment, or mobile home
spaces. space, or travel trailer
space.
(2) Motel units and hotel units. $.25 for each motel unit
or hotel unit.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage
it shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members
voting thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder, except that the
charges imposed by this ordinance shall become operative March 20, 1971.
On motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Councilman Talley, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley and Mayor
Levine.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
