O 040 C.S. ~. ,..'....., ORDINANCE NO. 40 C. S. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 OF TITLE IV OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTIONS 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 and 3.14 THERETO TO LIMIT PARRING OF ALL VEHICLES, TRAILERS AND BOATS IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby ordains as follows: Sec tion 1: Chapter 3 of Title IV of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended by adding Sections 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 and 3.14 thereto to read as follows: Section 4-3.11: It shall be unlawful to park or cause to be parked within a public right-of-way in any residential area of the City of Arroyo Grande any vehicle with an unladen curb weight exceeding 4500 pounds and/or exceeding 18 feet overall length, except as otherwise provided in Section 4-3.13 hereof. Section 4-3.12: No vehicle, mobile home, vacation, boat, pole or utility trailer may be parked within a public right-of-way in any residential area of the City of Arroyo Grande for any continuous period exceeding 72 hours, except as otherwise noted in Section 4-3.13 below. Section 4-3.13: Any such vehicle may be parked within the City when actually and continuously being loaded thereon, or unloaded therefrom, or during the time which such vehicle is parked because its presence at a particu- lar place is reasonably necessary in the furtherance or carrying on of any process of construction, reconstruction, maintenance or repair, or any utility service located within such thoroughfare, or any property adjacent thereto. Sec tion 4-3.14: The Police Department of this City may remove or cause to be removed any vehicle that has been parked or left standing upon any public right-of-way of the City in violation of either Section 4-3.11 or 4- 3.12 above. Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder. On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Wood, and on the ~ following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley and Mayor Levine. NOES: None.
