RESOLUTION NO. 3247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND
CONTRACT EXECUTION FOR FUNDING FROM THE
ENTERPRISE FUND COMPONENT OF THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION OF THE STATE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OP'
GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDM-=NTS THERETO
WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE PURPOSES
OF THIS GRANT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande has considered an application for
funding an Economic Enterprise Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up
to $250,000 allocated as follows:
Economic Development Business Loan Program $216,000
General Administration $ 10,000
Activity Delivery . $ 24,000
SECTION 2. The City Council has reviewed the Citizen Participation Plan for
compliance with federal statute and has determined that this plan was
followed for the development of. this application.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to'act on the City's
behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 4. The City Manager is authorized to enter into and sign the grcmt
agreement with the State of California for the purposes of this grant.
On motion by Council Member Runels, seconded by Council Member Tolley , and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Members Runels, Tolley, Lady, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Fuller
