AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
A PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE REFERRED TO IN SECTION 0302 OF TITLE 9
CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO RE-ZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain O:,dinance known as "ZONING
"(?RDIN1,'>NCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRI',NDE" is herewith amended as
folloW's:

The "Z~ING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to
in Section .302 of Title 9 Chapter 4 of the Municlj,.:iJ. Code is amended
so that the zones and boundaries of certain District,s shoWn therein
and thereon are changed so as to be the zones an~ ~oundaries as shown
and designated on the Map attached hereto, and by +,his reference incor-
porated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 26 C.S. OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references
shown thereon shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the
matters shown on said Map were all fully described herein, and the
Districts and zones and boundaries of the property shown therein from
and after the effective date of the adoption of this Ordinance. The
, properties intended to be re-zoned and the changes in the zoning

, All that property in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San
i Luis Obispo, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
~e northerly 10.49 feet of Lot 12, and all of Lots 13, 14,
15, and 16, of Block 8 and Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block 11
of the Short, Mason, Whiteley Addition as recorded in Book
. A, Page 48 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
, said County; and that certain parcel of land in the City of

, Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of ~alifornia,
shown on the map of the Resubdivision of a part of the Ranchos
Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisa1 recorded November
24, 1886 in Book A Page 63 of Maps, in the office of the County
~rder of said County, bounded on the northwest by the north-
eas~r1y prolongation of the center line of Nelson Street, as
said Nelson Street is shown on the map recorded in Book A Page
48 of Maps; bounded on the southeast by the northeasterly
prolongation of the northwesterly line of Lot 5 in Block 11
of the subdivision of the lands of W.N. Short, C,J. Mason and
W. Whiteley, as per map recorded in Book A Page 48 of Maps;
bounded on the southwest by the easterly line of Block 11 of
the said Short, Mason and Whiteley subdivision and the north-
westerly extension thereof to the said center line of Nelson
Street, and bounded on the northeast by the northeasterly line
of the right of way granted to the San Luis Obispo and Santa
Maria Valley Railroad Company, a Corporation, by deed dated
November 14, 1881 and recorded in Book N Page 472 of Deeds of
said County.
Said property is re-~oned from R-2 Duplex to R_3 Multiple.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force 'and effect
thirty (30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage it shall be published once, together with the names of the
Councilmen voting thereon, in ,the Arroyo Grande Herald-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilman Wood, and
on the following roll call vote, to witg
