ORDINANCE NO. 21 C.S.
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 7, TITLE 6, SECTION .01 (g) OF THE
ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ..LOPEZ
WATER CONTRACT CHARGES
The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande ordains
as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 7, Title 6, Section .01 (g) of the Arroyo Grande
Municipal Code relating to Lopez Water Contract charges
is amended by amending sub-section (g) to read as follows:
(g) In addition to the monthly water charges set forth in
this chapter, each City water user shall be charged an
additional sum each month, to be designated "Lopez Water
Contract Charge", in accordance with the greater of the
following schedules:
SCHEDULE I
Size of Meter
5/8 to 3/4 inch $6.00
1 inch 8.50
l~ to l~ inch 11. 00
2 inch 13.50
3 inch 16.00
4 inch 18.50
SCHEDULE II
Purpose of Use and Where Unmetered Service
Single-family dwellings $6.00
Each additional single-family dwelling
on same meter 6.00
Businesses not otherwise provided for herein 6.00
Each additional business on same meter 6.00
Multiple dwellings, one unit 6.00
Each additional unit on same meter 3.00
Motels, trailer courts, and cabins, one unit 6.00
Each additional unit on same meter 1.50
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days
after its passage it shall be published once, together with
the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in the Arroyo
Grande Herald-Recorder, except that the charges imposed
by this ordinance shall become operative and be imposed
October 21, 1968 and shall not apply prior to said date.

Schlegel, Smith and Mayor Wood
