ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE 8 OF THE
ARROYO GRANDEMUN IC I PAL CODE RELATI NG
TO THE PLUMBING CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTI ON I. ,.
Chapter 5 of Title 8 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code relating
to the plumbing code is amended to read as follows:
SEC. 8-5.01. ADOPTION OF UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE.
For the purposes of governing and controlling the installation,
alteration, repair, and inspection of, and the issuance of permits for,
all plumbing and drainage systems in the City, that certain code designated
as the "Uniform Plumbing Code," 1967 Edition, published by the International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, three (3) copies of which
have been filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the
City Clerk, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter
as though set forth in this chapter in full, subject, however, to the
amendments, additions, and deletions set forth in this chapter, and said
code shall be known as the Plumbing Code for the City.
SECTION 2.
Except as herein amended, Chapter 5 of Title 8 of the Arroyo Grande
Muni c i pa I Code is hereby repea I ed.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days
after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be pub J i shed once, together wi th the names of the Counc i lmen vot i ng thereon,
in the Arroyo Grande Hera I d-Recorder.

Thompson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Burt and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
