ORDINANCE NO. 166
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO 157 OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, SO AS TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 157 of the City of Arroyo
Grande, said Ordinance being known as "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE" is herellif th amended as fo II ows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" referred to in said
Section 3.2 of Ordinance No. 157 is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain of the Districts shown therein and thereon are
changed so as to be the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on
the Map atta~ped hereto, and by reference incorporated herein, which map
is ent; tIed," A SECTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE WOo 166 , OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said

part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown on said Map wre all fully
descrihed herein. ond the Districts and Zones and Boundaries as shown on
the said Map attached hereto shall be the Districts and Zones and Boundaries
of the property shown therein from and after the effective date of the
adoption of this Ordinance. The properties intended to be Re-Zoned and the
changes in the zoning accomplished hereby are described as fOllows,towit:
The following parcels of real property located in the City of Arroyo
Grande, and particularly described as follows:
.- PARCEL I. Lots 1 and 2 of Block I and Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 3,
-~~-~-",.- all in Tract 161 in the Ci ty of Arroyo Grande, County of
San Luis Obispo, State of California.
Said property is re-zoned from "R-I" property to "R-3"
property.
PARCEL 2. That portion of Lot 107 of James T. Stratton's Survey of
parts of the Ranchos Corral de Fiedra, Pismo and Bolsa de
Chemisal, ;n the Citr of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of Cal fornia as per map recorded in Book A,
page 65 of Maps ~n the Office of the County Recorder of said
County descr i bed as follows I.
Beginning at a point in the East line of Halcyon Road,
said point being the northwest corner of the land described
in the deed to Fred A. Grieb, et UX., recorded June 17, 1938
in Book 241, page 258 of Official Records; thence North 890
51' East along the North line of the land described in said
deed, 270.00' to a point; thence North 00 07' W 221.10' more
or less to the South line of Dodson way as shown on a Record
of Survey map recorded in Book 12 at page 33, records of said

County; thence S 890 45' W 270.00' along said South line
of Dodson Way to the said East line of Halcyon Road; thence
S 0.<1 07' E 219.311 along said East line of Halcyon Road, to
- the point of beginning.
Said property is re-zoned from HRA-B3" property to IIR-3"
property.

described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of Halcyon Road.

511 East along the North 1 i ne of the land described in said
deed, 270.00' feet to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing N 890 51' East 186.59' to a point; thence N 10
02' wa distance of 219.24' more or less to the south line of
Dodson Way as shown on a record of survey map recorded in Book
12 of Records of Surveys at page 33. records of said county;
thence South 890 45' w alon9 said South line of Dodson Way, a
distance of 183.10' to a pOlnt; thence S 00 07' E 221.11' to
the true point of beginning
Said property is re-zoned from IRA-B3" property to "R-3"
property.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days
after its passage. and within fifteen (IS) days after its passage it shall
be published once. together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon.
in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder.
On motion of Councilman McNeil . seconded by Councilman
Lee , and on the following roll call vote. to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Burt, Lee, Wood, Jacobs, McNeil
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was adopted this 25th day of September, 1962.
