RESOLUTION NO. 3238
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 ANNUAL
BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AMOUNT BUDGETED.
WHEREAS, a proposed Annual Budget for the City of Arroyo Grande for the FISCal Year
commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, 1998 was submitted to the City Council and
is on file in the City Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, proceedings for adoption of said Budget have been duly taken; and
WHEREAS, the City Council made certain revisions, cofTeCtions, and mocflfications to said
proposed Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager will cause the Budget document to be modified to reflect the
changes ordered by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: .
SECTION 1. The Budget, as amended, is adopted as the Annual Budget fer the City of
Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, 1998.
SECTION 2. At the close of the Fiscal Year, unexpended appropriation$in the Operating
Budget will be carried forward to the next fiscal year as necessary-.tol..l1defwite the
expense of outstanding purchase commitments. Unexpended appropriations fer authorized
but uncompleted projects as approved by the City Council may be carried fc:JrwIiIro to the
next succeeding Budget upon recommendation by the Finance Director and approval of the
City Manager.
On motion of Council Member Runels . seconded by Council Member
Fuller . and on the following roll caU vote, to wit
