. RESOLUTION NO. 3233
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE. USE OF aM
STREET PARK FOR THE STONE SOUP FESTIVAL AND
FAMILY DAY IN THE PARK
WHEREAS, Cal Poly Arts, the South County Coalition for Human Services, and the
San Luis Obispo Arts Council (organizers) have requested the use of Elm Street
Park on Sunday September 21, 1997 for the Stone Soup Festival and Family Day in
the Park; and
WHEREAS, the organizers will be responsible for the organization and management
of the event, including reimbursement to the City for the costs of City personnel
needed for the event, and for cleanup at the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The use of Elm Street Park on Sunday, September 21, 1997 for the Stone
Soup Festival and Family Day in the Park; and
2. That the event organizers will adhere to certain requirements and conditions
set forth by the Police, Parks and Recreation, and Building and Fire
Departments as contained in the Temporary Use Permit issued by the City.
On motion of Council Member Lady, seconded by Council Member Fuller, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:

NOES: None
ABSENT: None -
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 2-r' day of May 1997.
