PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF ELECTRICAL PERMITS AND FOR
INSPECTIONS AND FIXING THE FEES TH~EFOR ; REGULATING the
INST~LLATION, ARRANG~EET, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MAI~NTENANCE
AND OPERATION OF ELECTRIC WIRING, ELECTRIC FIXTURES, AND
OTHER ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT; PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE SA~E;,.REPEALING ,ALL ~THER
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANOES IN CONFLICT ~EWITH,
AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THAT CERTAIN PRINTED ELECTRICAL
CODE PRINTED IN BOOK FORM ENTITLED ~INIFORM ELECTRICAL CODE",
PUBLISHED BY THE PACIFIC COAST ELE~TRICAL BUREAU, THREE COPIES
OF %<~ICH ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FQR USE
AND EXAMINATION BY THE PUBLIC.
The City Council of the tCity of Arroyo Grande does ~'
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That .er~ain document in book form, entitled
Code",(19~]edition, published by the Pacific
"Uniform
Electrical
Coast Electrical Bureau, three copies of which are now on file in
the offi66 of the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande, is here~y
adopted and enacted by the City Council of the City of Amroyo G~ande,
as the Electrical Code of the City of Arroyo Grande.
~ SECTION That all other ordinances and part of
ordinances in conflict -~herewith, of the City of Arroyo Grands are~~
herewith repealed. ~
SECTION ~ This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect 30 days after its passage and within 15 days of its passage
it shall be published one~ in t~he Arroyo Gran~Herald-Recorder, a
newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Arroyo
Grande, Cou~t'~ bfSan Luis Obispo, ~tate Of California.
