I.'; The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does ordain , i as follows: " '. ..~~ SECTION 1. Sections IIIA, IIIB and IIIC\, of Ordinance Number 7?, of the. City of Arroyo Grande and p,asS,ed and adopted ~~~, 1942, are hereby amended to r.ad as follows, I Ii , Ii to-wi t : I "Section IlIA: No person, firm or corporation shall repair, I I' reoonstruct, move, convert or alter any building',within the City Ii i i of Arroyo Grande without obtaining a written pe~it for that i , I , purpose from the Building Department as provided elsewhere in this I Ordinance and as provided by the State Housing Act.11 ItSection IIIB: The City Building Inspector may allow any person, firm or corporation to make ohanges, alteratiQns or repairs to or in any building without a permit if the work 1s t~ be of a minor nature and will not affect ,the structural safety or the sanitation, ventilation or safety of the building." "Seotion IIIC: Every person, firm or corporation applying for a permit under the provisions of Seotions IlIA and IIlB of this Ordinance shall, at the time of filing an applioation therefor, pay to the Building Inspector the following fee, to-wit: Where the oost of the repair, reoonstruction, moving, conversion or altering of such building is under Fifty Dollars ($50.00), no fee shall be charged, Where the cost of the repair, reconstruction, moving, conversion or altering of the building is over Fifty Dollars ($50,00), a fee of Two Dollars ($2,00) for each One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of cost or fractional part thereof shall be charged." - 1- ---.,--~-- I I i , !i I SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict I herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect thirty days after its final passage, and before the expiration of fifteen days after its passage, it shall be published with the names of tho members voting for and against the same at I least once in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder, a newspaper of general oirculation, published and ciroulated in the said City of Arroyo Grande.
