O 073 I I! ;1 I , Ii , Ii Ii -, I _. - I- I 1Q ORDINANCE NUMBER ...J . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDrNANCE NUMBER 47 PASSED AND ADOPTED JUNE 7, 19.33, BY ADDING THERETO SECTIONS IlIA, IIIB and IIIC. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does ordain as follows: SECTION l. Sections IlIA, IIIB and IIIC of Ordinance Number 47 of the City of Arroyo Grande known as "The Building Ordinance" and passed and adopted on June 7, 1933, are hereby added to said ordinance and shall read as follows, to-wit: "t>ection IlIA: No person, firm or corporation shall repair, re-construct, move, convert or alter any apartment house, hotel or dwelling within the City of Arroyo Grande unless he has obtained a written permit for that purpose from the Building Department as I provided elsewhere in this Ordinance and as provided b,y the State I I Housing Act." "Section IIIB: The City Building Inspector may allow any I person, firm or corporation to make changes, alterations or repairs to or in ary apartment house, hotel or dwelling without a permit if the work is to be of a minor nature and will not affect the structural safety or the sanitation, ventilation or safety of the building." "Section IllC: Every person, firm or corporation applying for a permit under the provisions of Sections IlIA and rIIB of this Ordinance shall, at the time of filing an application therefor, pay to the Building Inspector the following fee, to-wit: Where the cost of the repair, re-construction, moving, con- S((,(,~ version or altering of ~ building is under Fifty Dollars ($50.00), ^ no fee shall be charged. Where the cost of the repair, re-construction, moving, con- version or altering of the building is over Fifty Dollars ($50.00), - 1 - i , a fee of TwO Dollars ($2.00) for each One Thousand Dollars I ~ /..r. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full , force and effect thirty days after its final passage, and before the expiration of fifteen days after its passage, it shall be published with the names of the members voting for and against the same at least once in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the said City of Arroyo Grande.
