AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION V OF ORDINANCE NUMBER " \
47 PASSED AND ADOPTED JUNE 7, 1933. .-...---:'-...-
The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does ordain as
I follows:

SECTION 1. That Section V of Ordinance Number 47 of the City
of Arroyo Grande, known as the Building Ordinance, and passed and
adopted on June 7, 193.3, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows, to-wit:
Section V. "Uniform Building Code, 1940 Edition, adopted
b,y the Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference" is hereb,y accep~

ted and adopted as the official guide by the City Council as the
standard of building and materials that may be used within the City
of Arroyo Grande.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereb,y repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect thirty days after its final passage, and before the
expiration of fifteen days after its passage, it shall be published
with the names of the members voting for and against the same at
least once in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder, a newspaper of
general qirculation, published and circulated in,t~e said City 9f
Arroyo Grande.

Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, this
