The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 1, of Ordinance No. 58, of the City of Arroyo Grande, en ti tled 11 An Ordinance ProvidinG for the 'femporary Remission 01' Penalties, Interest and Costs UDon the Redemption of Property Sold For Delinquent Taxes, Dec18ring the Urgimcy of This Ordinance and Providing That it Shall 'rake lffcct Upon Final Adoption", passed and adopted on the 21st day of Jul~, 1937, is hereby amended as follows, to-wit: In all cases where real estate has heretofore been sold to the City of Arroyo Grande f9r delinquent City taxes pursunnt to the ordinance of said City, and the City has not disDosed of the same, the person whose estate has been sold, his heirs, executors, administrators or other successors in interest shall, at any time ).tf:t4.. '-!~ f before the day of April, 1939, have the right to redeem such propert~r bJ' paying to the City Treasurer the amount of taxes due thereon at the time of such sale and also all unpaid taxes of every description assessed against tne property for each year since the sale, as shown by the delinquent assessment rolls of said City, or, if not so assessed, then upon the value of the property as assessed in the year nearest the time of such redemDtio,n, Vii th interest on the whole amount of ,such taxes at the rate of seven ner cent per a=urn computed from the 1st d<W of July, 19.37, to the tinE of such redemption.
