I The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does ordain I a$ follows: SECTrOIl 1. Section 1, of Ordinance No. 55, of the Clty of Arrayo Grande, entitled "An Ordinanr.e ?roviding fot' the Temporary Re~ission of Penalties, Intere$t and Costs Upon the Redemption of Property ~old For Delinquent Taxes, Declaring the Urgency of This Ordinance and Providing That it Shall Take Efl'ect Upon Final Adoption", passed and adopted on the 16th day of December, 1936, is hereby amended as follows, to-wit: In all cases where real estate has heretofore been sold to the City of Arroyo Grande for delinquent City taxes pur$uant to the ordinance of said City, !ind the Ci tJ' haf, .not disposed of the $ame, the per san whose estl1~e has been sold, his heirs, executors, I administrators or other successor's in interest shall, at any time "...w day of .April, 1938, have the right to redeem such before the ~ 9 - I property b3' paying to the City Treasurer the amount of taxes due ! I thereon at the time of such sale and 8.1so all unpaid taxes of every description assessed against the property fur each year since the sale, as sho'l.'n by the delinquent assessment rolls of said City, or, if not. so assessed, then upon the value of the prOiJerty as asse$sed in the year nearest the time of such redemption, with interest on the ?:hole amount of such taxes at the rate of seven per cent pf'r annum computed from the 1st day of July, 19.37, to the time of such redem~)tion. The provisions of this section shall be deemed to a 1101'1 the redemption of such real estate, before April "-'i'~, 19.3S, free from the pa'5>ment of any costs, interest (other than the interest I ~ , i hereinbefore in this ordinance provided), penalties for delinquency or penalties on redemption which may have accrued against said real estate, on or before April 27, 1937. SECTIOlI 2. All ordinances or )arts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTIOn .3. This ordinance after its passage and I\doption, and approval by the Mayor, shall be published once in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published ana circulated in the 8ity of Arroyo Grande.
