O 049 ORDINANCE NO. 49 An Ordinance of the City of Ar:royo Grande amending Ordinance No. 21, by adding a new section thereto, relating to the business of bakeries whose factories are located outside theC!ty Limits of the city of Arroyo Grande. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, as follows: SEX:TION I. That Ordinance No. 21, an Ordinance of the City of Arroyo Grande, establishing, fixing and imposing Municipal licenses for the transacting or carrying on of any business, calling~ profession, game exhibition or show, within the City of Arroyo Grande, be amended by adding a new section to be numbered as follows: SECTION 54:A. Every person, firm or c.orpib.ration engaged in the busi- ness of manufacturing bakery products, in a plant or bakery located outside the Oity of Arroyo Grande, delivering such bakery products to said City and there selling, delivering or distributing such bakery products, either by wholesale or retail, or delivering such products to an agent who in turn sells or distributes such products within said city, shall pay a license fee of ($50.00) Fifty Dollars per annum, payable in advance. No license shall be issued under this sec- tion for a term of less than one year from the first day of the current quarter during which said license is ;tJjsued. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any person, firm or corporation engaged in such business, but who Uses a common carrier for the p1,1rpose of delivery or transporting such bakery products to said City. SECTION 54-B. This Ordinance shall be published once in the Herald- Recorder, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Arroyo Grande, and be in force and effect thirty days after final passage and approval.
