RESOLUTION NO. 3212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE DENYING THE APPEAL SUBMITTED BY
THE SUNRISE TERRACE MOBILEHOME OWNERS
ASSOCIATION TO INCREASE RENTS DUE TO A HARDSHIP
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered the
appeal submitted by the Sunrise Terrace Mobilehome Owners Association of the
Mobile Home Rent Review Board denying a request to increase rel1ts pursuant to
Section 5-16.04.{e) of the Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on the appeal on the
appeal in accordance with City Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the appellants have not provided
sufficient justification and evidence to support the needed finding that there were
unanticipated and unexpected expenditures of substantial amounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande hereby denies the request by the Sunrise Terrace Mobilehome Owners
Association to increase .rents pursuant to the provisions of the Mobile Home Rent
Stabilization 0 rd inance.
On motion by Council Member Lady, seconded by Council Member Tolley
and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lady, Tolley, Fuller, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: Council Member Runels .
ABSENT: None
