RESOLUTION NO. 3204
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AUTHORIZING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY
COUNCil OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AND THE
ARROYO GRANDE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
HEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") has prepared the
.adevelopment Plan ("Redevelopment Plan") for the proposed Arroyo Grande Redevelopment
Project ("Project") and the related Environmental Impact Report ("EIR"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment law ([CCRl]
Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et. seq.), there is a need for a joint public hearing of the City
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande and the Agency and to have any interested groups and
citizens be heard with respect to the Project and related items.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande approves the convening of a joint public
hearing with the Agency on May 13, 1997, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the
Arroyo Grande City Council Chambers, 215 E. Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California 93420 for
the purpose of considering the Redevelopment Plan for the Project and the related EIR.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish, in cooperation with the Agency, a "legal
Notice of the Joint Public Hearing" in a newspaper of general circulation not less than once a week
for four successive weeks 'prior to the date of the Joint Public Hearing. The City Clerk is further
directed to cooperate with Agency staff and advisors in the mailing of a copy of the aforesaid notice
to the last known assessee of each parcel of land within the proposed Project Area as shown on
the last equalized assessment roll of San luis Obispo County to all property and business owners,
residents, and tenants within the proposed Project Area, and all taxing entities that receive a
portion of the ad valorem taxes levied on properties within the Project Area in accordance with
Section 33349 of the CCRL

Ayes: Council Members Fuller, lady, Tolley, Runels, and Mayor Dougall
Noes: None .
Absent: None
