RESOLUTION NO. 3791
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING A ONE-YEAR TIME
EXTENSION FOR AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
02-003, AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF A 1 OS-UNIT
SENIOR HOUSING COMPLEX; COURTLAND STREET AND
EAST GRAND AVENUE; APPLIED FOR BY LARRY
PERSONS
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Amended Conditional Use Permit 02-003 on
September 24, 2002; and
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2004, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo
Grande adopted a Resolution recommending the City Council approve a one-year time
extension for Amended Conditional Use Permit 02-003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered a request
for a one-year time extension for Amended Conditional Use Permit 02-003 to
construct a 10S-unit senior housing complex at Courtland Street and East Grand
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after due study and deliberation, that there have
been no significant changes in the General Plan, Municipal Code or character of the
area within which the project is located that would cause the approved project to be
injurious to the public. health, safety, or welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VEn that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande approves of a one-year time extension for Amended Conditional Use Permit
02-003, with the above findings and subject to the conditions as set forth in Exhibit
" A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Amended Conditional
Use Permit 02-003 shall now expire on September 23, 2005.
On motion of Council Member Runels, seconded by Council Member Dickens and by
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Runels, Dickens, Costello and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Lubin

CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
TIME EXTENSION 04-009
AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 02-003
COURTLAND STREET AND EAST GRAND AVENUE
GENERAL CONDITIONS
This approval authorizes a one-year time extension for Amended Conditional Use
Permit 02-003, which was originally approved by the City Council on September 24,
2002, for construction of a 1 OS-unit senior housing complex.
1. The applicant shall ascertain and comply with all Federal, State, County and
City requirements as are applicable to this project.
2. The applicant shall comply with all conditions of approval for Amended
Conditional Use Permit 02-003.
3. Amended Conditional Use Permit 02-003 shall automatically expire on
September 23, 2005. The applicant may apply for two (2) additional one-
year time extensions, pursuant to Development Code Section 16.12.140.
4. For all building permits issued in the subject development, the applicant shall
pay those development impact fees that are in effect at the time the building
permits are issued.
5. The projects' senior center shall be made available' to the general public
senior community for reasonable access and use.
