RESOLUTION NO. 3457
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2000-01
ANNUAL BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR
THE AMOUNT BUDGETED
WHEREAS, a proposed Annual Budget for the City of Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year
commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001 was submitted to the City Council
and is on file with the Director of Administrative Services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council also serves as the Redevelopment Agency Board of
Directors; and,
WHEREAS, proceedings for adoption of said Budget have been duly taken; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council made certain revisions, cQrrections, and modifications to
the said proposed Budget; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim City Manager will cause the Budget document to be modified to
reflect the changes ordered by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIO~ 1. The Budget as amended, is adopted as the Annual Budget for the City of
Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1,2000 and ending June 30, 2001.
SECTION 2. At the close of the Fiscal Year, unexpended appropriations in the Operating
Budget will be carried forward to the next fiscal year as necessary to underwrite the
expense of outstanding purchase commitments. Unexpended appropriations for
authorized but u[1completed projects as approved by the City Council may be carried
forward to the next succeeding Budget upon recommendation by the Financial Services
Director and approval of the City Manger.
On motion of Council Member Ferrara, seconded by Council Member Dickens, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: ' Council Members Ferrara, Dickens, Runels, Tolley, and Mayor Lady
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopte~ this 19th day of June, 2000.
