RESOLUTION NO. 3849
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE FOR A QUITCLAIM DEED
TO CONVEY OWNERSHIP AND TITLE OF THE PARCEL
FOR SEWER LIFT STATION NO.1 FROM THE COUNTY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO TO THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, the real property described in the Quitclaim Deed attached as Exhibit "A" to
County of San Luis Obispo Resolution No. 2004-377, a true and correct copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, consists of real property
conveyed in fee to the County of San Luis Obispo for the Arroyo Grande Sewer
Assessment District No.1 on June 18, 1973 by Resolution No. 73-430A, and conveying
grant deed, recorded on August 17, 1973 on the official records of the County of San
Luis Obispo; and
WHEREAS, the County and the City entered into an agreement dated January 17, 1972
for the construction of Lift Station No. 1 and collection facilities for Sewer Assessment
District No.1; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides for the County to convey and transfer full and
complete title to said system to the City upon certain conditions pertaining to issued
bonds being paid in full; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande was notified that the last principal payment on
the bonds for Sewer Assessment District No. 1 was made, that said conditions have
been satisfied, and thus the City has requested transfer by the County of San Luis
Obispo of the parcel underlying Sewer Lift Station No.1; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to execute a Certificate of Acceptance before
the Quitclaim Deed may be recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City a CertIficate
of Acceptance of real property from the County of San Luis Obispo, in substantially the
form and content shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and the Certificate of
Acceptance may be recorded simultaneously with the recordation of the Quitclaim
Deed.
On motion of Council Member Costello, saconded by Council Member Arnold, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Costello, Arnold, Dickens, Guthrie and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14111 day of June 2005.

does hereby release and quitclaim unto Grantee all right, title and interest in and to that
certain. real property situate in the County. of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
described.as follows:
all that real property described in a deed from Marion B. Calarnoneri, et aI., to the
County of San Luis Obispo, recorded on August 17,1973 in Volume 1739, Pages
791 to 793 of Official Records, in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California
