RESOLUTION NO. 3845
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR MOVING
PERMIT, APPLICATION AND INSPECTION FEES AS
AUTHORIZED BY ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE
CHAPTER 15.12.220
WHEREAS, before a permit shall be issued for the moving of a building or structure, a
building permit shall be applied for and a fee therefore paid to the building department; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the building permit fees, an application fee shall accompany
each moving permit application to cover the costs of processing the application, the
inspection of the building and premises, route approval, and any other costs incurred in
connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has adopted Ordinance No.
~, which included an amendment to Section 15.12.220.C. of the Arroyo Grande
Municipal Code to .provide that the moving permit application and inspection fees shall be
established by Resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
that:
1. As authorized by Municipal Code Section 15.12.220.C., the moving permit
application and inspection fees shall be as follows:
a. For moving a building or structure from one location to another location
within the city, ten dollars ($10.00);
b. For moving a building or structure into the city, twenty-fIVe dollars ($25.00);
and
c. For moving a building or structure through.the city, ten dollars ($10.00).
2. This Resolution shall become effective upon the effective date of Ordinance No.
5:Ja.
On motion of Council Member Costello, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Costello, Arnold, Dickens, Guthrie and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of June 2005.
