RESOLUTION NO. 3855
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING SALARY ADJUSTMENTS
FOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR
2005-06
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande ("City") deems it in the best
interest of the City that compensation and benefits for Management employees be
adjusted as hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
that:
1. Salary ranges for management classifications shall be adjusted as designated in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference to be effective
for the pay period beginning July 1, 2005;
2. All full-time management classifications shall receive a salary Cost of Living
Adjustment (COLA) of 4% to be effective for the pay period beginning January 1,
2006.
3. Salary ranges for management classifications shall be adjusted as designated in
Exhibit "8" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference to be effective
for the pay period beginning January 1, 2006.
4. Effective July 1, 2005, upon providing the City written proof that medical insurance
coverage is in force through coverage provided by another source, all management
employees will be eligible to opt out of the City's medical insurance plan and receive
payment at the employee only level consistent with any rules or restrictions on the
City by the medical plan provider.
On motion of Council Member Dickens, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Dickens, Arnold, Guthrie, and Mayor Pro Tern Costello
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Ferrara
