The Council met in special session, called by Mayor Millis,

CONSIDERATION OF EMPLOYEES' BENEFITS
The Council considered a recommendation from Finance Director Bacon, regarding
employee benefits for.the 1978-79 fiscal year. After Council discussion, a motion
was made by Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on the following
roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Pope, Gallagher, de Leon, Smith and
Mayor Millis; NOES: None, ABSENT: . None, the motion carried unanimously that.the
City assume the Employee's deduction:: share of social security-retirement, as
allowed by Senate Bill 22.1'2 in amending Senate Bill 154, beginning with the current
pay period and ending June 30, 1979, as recommended by the Finance Director.
