CITY COUNCIL
ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA
JULY 31, 1978
4:00 P.M.
The City Council met in special session, called by Mayor Millis, who is
presiding. Upon roll call, Council Members Gallagher, Smith and de Leon reported
present. Council Member pope is absent.
FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS OF PHASE 1 OF TRACT 604, OAK PARK ACRES (KVIDT)
City Engineer Karp reviewed a map of Oak Park Acres and the required improve-
ments of phase I, which have now been completed and he recommended acceptance of
them.
After Council discussion, a motion was made by Councilman de Leon, seconded
by Councilman Gallagher and unanimously carried, accepting the improvements for
Phase I of Tract No. 604, Oak Park Acres, and authorizing the release of the

APPROVE FINAL TRACT MAP 673, OAK PARK ACRES
City Engineer Karp reviewed with the Council a map of Tract No. 673 and
his report dated July 21, 1978 regarding final approval of said tract, which is a
subdivision of Lot 9'of the Oak Park Acres Planned Development and lies on the
north side of James Way. The tract will create 30 lots.
After Council discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Gallagher, seconded
by Councilman de Leon and unanimously carried, as follows: 1) reject without
prejudice:to future acceptance, those drainage easements designated on the 'map by
the letter "A"; 2) accept, on behalf of the public, subject to satisfactory improve-
ment, the remaining easements offered for dedication of drainage, street trees,
water and sewer and also the dedication for Acorn Drive; 3) accept the appropriate
separate instrument provided for right of way to build Equestrian Way if not
previously accepted; 4) authorize the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the City,
the appropriate Improvement Agreement; 5), find Tract No. 673 to be consistent with
the City's General Plan and Zoning; and 6) approving said Tract No. 673.
APPROVE FINAL TRACT MAP 674, OAK PARK ACRES
City Engineer Karp reviewed with the Council a Map of Tract No. 674 and his
report dated July 21, 1978 regarding final approval of said tract, which is a
subdivision of Lot 10 of the Oak Park Acres Planned Develpoment, and lies on the
north side of James Way adjacent to the east boundary of Oak ,Park Acres. The
tract will create 15 lots.
After Council discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Gallagher, seconded
by Councilman de Leon and unanimously carried, as follows: 1) accepting the following
subject to satisfactory completion of the required improvements: dedications for
roadways; the easements for roadway slopes, drainage facilities, sewer and street
trees; and (if not previously accepted) the separate instrument transferring title
of Equestrian Way to the City for roadway:purposes; 2) authorizing the Mayor to
execute;, on behalf of the City'" the appropriate Subdivision,,'Agreement; 3) finding
Tract No. 674 to be consistent with the City's General Plan and Zoning; and 4)
approving Tract No. 674.

On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Gallagher and unani-
mously carried, the meeting adjourned at 4:15 P.M.
